# messenger_message_hide_apply
Hiding a basic-group message in the Messenger app (pApp D00003) is done on the console: the message context menu Hide Message [str_3183, str_3319] has no unhide, so MCP does not hide it. This answers with the console room screen and sends nothing. Use messenger_message_hide_get to read the message first. Called without confirmToken it previews and returns a confirmToken; repeating the same input with it executes once.
