Create a static HTML page (upload an HTML file)
Show your own HTML file as a page of your channel, or inside a full-screen section of a page, instead of linking another site. This is the console's HTML upload for a Fullscreen-Iframe page or section.
What you can upload
- One static HTML file,
.htmlor.htm, up to 10 MB, as the console allows. - The file is shown as it is. Pictures, styles and scripts it loads from other addresses must be reachable from the web.
How the upload works
The file goes from your computer straight to publ storage. The server never receives it.
- Your AI app asks for the upload with the file's name and exact size (
iframeFilewithkindlocal-file). - The answer gives a one-time upload address that is valid for a short time and only for this file. The app sends the file there from your computer.
- The app repeats the call with
kindcomplete. The upload is checked in storage, and the page or section then points at the file's address.
A file in Google Drive or behind another link is first downloaded to your computer, then uploaded the same way.
Where to use it
- A new or existing external page: iframe_page_apply with
iframeFileinstead ofiframeUrl. - A Fullscreen-Iframe section in a page design: page_design_apply, action
add_sectionwith the sectionEXP_IFRAME, orupdate_sectionwithiframeFile.
Draft first, publish on the console
The HTML file changes the draft only. Visitors see it after the design is published. Publishing cannot be undone, so it stays on the console: the result links the console page editor, where you review the draft and publish it.
If your AI app cannot read files
The upload needs an AI app that can read files on your computer, such as a desktop or command-line agent. A chat-only app cannot send the file. In that case, open the console link in the result and upload the HTML file on the console page editor instead.
