media_settings_get
Read stored and effective settings for one installed media app without changing its configuration.
Inputs
channelCode: the selected authorized channel code.pAppCode: the exact installedC00001,C00002,C00005,C00006,C00007,C00014,C00015orC9xx05event-live instance code. Do not replace an instance with its base code.
Result and next step
MEDIA_SETTINGS returns channel/app identity, stored, effective, localizedDefaultLabels, revision and writesPerformed:false. stored contains explicit supported overrides. effective also contains the implementation's boolean/order defaults; labels left to localized UI defaults remain absent and appear in localizedDefaultLabels. An omitted label is not stored translated text.
Use this exact revision with media_settings_apply. Reads validate the supported projection; unknown stored option values can make the response unverified. The change workflow hashes the full configuration for preservation but does not expose unknown keys as editable settings. Reading configuration does not verify visitor layout, translations or restoration of originally absent keys.
Read the media workflow guide for authorization, source-versus-runtime availability and common recovery rules.
