media_label_apply
Create, rename, delete or reorder labels in an installed OTT (C00002), course (C00007) or shorts (C00015) app.
Inputs and actions
Provide channelCode, pAppCode, action, expectedRevision from media_labels_get, requestId and optional dryRun (default false).

Names must be nonblank and 1–30 characters. This is the bridge's declared name guard; it is not a claim of complete parity with every source input widget. labelId is a positive safe integer from the selected inventory. Supported types and per-category creation limits are listed in the reader. The generic type enum does not make a category valid for every app.
Ordering supports OTT/courses only. Provide every label in the selected category exactly once, with 1–100 unique IDs. Partial reordering and shorts ordering are rejected. The workflow checks untouched label fields and the relative order of other categories; ambiguous duplicate order values cannot establish a verified result.
Results and recovery
Dry run returns MEDIA_RESOURCE_PLAN. Subsequent observations distinguish a matching inventory from an unconfirmed mutation, with causalityVerified:false. Creation requires the returned identity; a same-name label is insufficient to adopt an unknown outcome. Deleting a label is not an association-preserving undo workflow and cannot restore its original ID automatically.
Task type: media-label. Use the saved requestId as taskId with the matching taskType. Media task_status and task_resume are observation-only, including prepared work. Repeat identical apply to continue a prepared action or an acknowledged next unsent stage; never change requestId to bypass an uncertain sent operation. A matching readback does not prove causality, atomic isolation or restoration. See recovery and revisions.
Read the media workflow guide for authorization, source-versus-runtime availability and common recovery rules.
Input example
Illustrative input only. Replace the channel, installed app, identifiers and revision with values obtained for the selected target.
